A little get away

Our church planned a men's golf trip last weekend and didn't have enough people sign up so they cancelled it. They had already booked the rooms and they decided to give them away plus $65 credit to use at the restaurant, spa or for golf. We were lucky enough to get one! It was a nice little get away for us. Leighton was sick so he stayed with the Warren grandparents. The drive wasn't bad at all (2 hours) and Caroline did remarkably well considering she HATES the car.

They had a heated pool so Anna Claire and Matt enjoyed swimming. We just relaxed and ate lots of food (our family is known for this). Anna Claire got her nails done at the salon.

I got lots of snuggle time with my sweet baby!

Anna Claire utilized the spa! HA! Funny when your 5 yr old daughter asks for a pedi the minute you mention they have a spa at the hotel.
I rode in the back and constantly kept Caroline from starting the "make you crazy car cry". What do I spy in the background????? Yep it's a Sonic imagine that....we made a diet coke stop or two on the way.
