Leighton is 11 Months

Almost ONE, I can't believe it. Leighton is getting so big and so much fun. Here's what our little fellow is up to:

- He is almost walking, he takes about 3 steps and then goes down to his knees.

- Smiling all the time

- He loves to play

-He goes to sleep really easy, we just lay him in his crib with his blue silky blanket and he falls asleep.

- He takes 2 naps a day and still gets up at night once and somtimes twice.

- He has the sweetest smell. I love to smell his blanket.

- He rubs his silky blanket when he's getting sleepy and it is the cutest thing EVER.

- He's a good eater. He eats very little baby food and lots of regular foods we eat.

- He's just about stopped nursing, loves his bottles of formula and some whole milk.

- Still loves his sister, even though she can be pretty hard on him.

- His favorite room in the house is sistser's room...he love's her kitchen.

- He cries when she cries.

- He's pretty sensitive...get's his feelings hurt real bad when I leave the room.

- He got really sick this month, not really sure what it was but his fever was really high and he felt really bad. Thanks to my mother-in-law, I survived. After 3 trips to the doctor we decided to let it run it's course and now he's fine.

- He's got almost 5 teeth.

- Loves his paci.

- Says dada and mama (kind of), uh oh, and pew wee (as in stinky). Not sure if that makes sense to anyone other than me :)

- Likes to clap and do The Wheels on the Bus. I love to watch those sweet little hands.

- I could go on and on :)

He is the most perfect little boy and I feel so lucky to be his mommy. I thank God for blessing us with such a precious little angel.
