Anna Claire's 4

Wow! What a day. Anna Claire turned 4 today and it has been one fun day for her and us. It started out with breakfast and a couple presents; from my brother and grandma and grandpa (candles in her blueberry muffins). Oh and Grandpa delivered her a flower before school. Next it was cupcakes at school, which she helped make and frosted and sprinkled herself. Then she had some of her favorite friends over to play after school. She did get stung by a wasp while playing outside, 1st one and it just had to be on her Birthday. We moved on from that okay though. :)
Matt has been out of town and had not planned on being home at all today, but he made a surprise appearance. He got to come home early from his trip and came bearing gifts. He brought her a Birthday Barbie complete with Barbie gift bag and all. I knew nothing about it....pretty impressive if you ask me. Next we went to the Boardwalk with Grandma and Grandpa to let her make a Build-a-Bear from us. She choose a really cute white dog (dogs are her thing). In complete Anna Claire fashion, she choose a cat meow sound for Poodle. Anything that's unorthodox is her style. Then we finished off the day by going to IHOP for pancakes (one of her favorites). Whew, I think I'm headed to bed.

Needless to say, she had a VERY exciting day.
