Baby #3

We have a new name for baby girl #3.

From my last post you probably read her first name is going to be Marietta. It's a family name from Matt's side. My father-in-law had a sister that died very young, I think around 18 months named Marietta. We have been working on the middle name and Anna Claire's good friend Luke has helped us out.

My good friend Brandi has an adorable and funny son named Luke that is 3, (Anna Claire loves Luke). Here's what Brandi emailed me about having a conversation with Luke about Anna Claire's baby sister and what her name would be.

Here's how it went down:

From Brandi:

Just wanted you to know that I asked Luke about your baby…here’s how the conversation went:

M: “Anna Claire is going to have a baby sister soon. A girl baby. What do you think she should name her?”
L: “what about Baby Leighton. Who’s gonna take him”
M: “Oh, they are definitely keeping Leighton. And, they are going to have another baby soon”
L: “We need another baby too because Abram is all growed up. We should get a girl baby next, no a boy baby”
M: “But, what about Anna Claire’s baby? What should they name that baby?”
L: “Oh, Baby Beluga”

Hahaha…as in the whale.
