Caroline May Warren was born today at 11:15 weighing 7lb 6oz and 20 inches long. Mom and baby are doing wonderful. Our delivery went very well and we are all so in love with her. Here are a few pictures before they even cleaned her up. Thank you for the prayers. God has blessed us beyond measure.

Tomorow is the day

I went back to the doctor today and found out that we will go in tonight at 10:30 and they will induce at 7:00am tomorrow (Feb 25th). It has been a great day, Anna Claire and I met my mom and grandmother for lunch and then she (AC) went with me to the doctor. We were so excited when Dr. Popwell said it would be tommorow.

We can't wait to meet Miss Caroline. We will update as things happen and hopefully with pictures as soon as she's born. Thanks to all of our friends and family who are reading this and are SO supportive. We love you!

Baby update...no real news

I went to the doctor today hoping to get some news that Miss Caroline is getting ready to make her entrance into this world, but no such luck. I was dilated 1/2 a cm (come on) but my cervix did not warrant an induction at this point. Everything is still great as far as blood pressure, no swelling, etc. Praise God! I think Dr. Popwell wished he could have told me different, but I'm okay with it. With the other 2 I have not wanted an induction at ALL. I love for nature to take it's course with pregnancy, however I must say I did not t have 2 children already at that point. Let's just say I AM READY!!!! I am large! I can't wait to hold my baby girl, it gives me chills to think about it :)

I still don't want to be induced if I'm not showing signs that I'm ready, but he asked me to come back tommorow to be checked again. I'll update after the appointment.

My sweet father-in law got 4 free tickets to see Elmo Live tonight, so Matt and his dad took the kids. Matt sent me this picture from his phone and said Leighton loves it. We know Anna Claire does because she loves shows, but we weren't sure how Lay would do.

Mardi Gras Parade

We had a great time at the Mardi Gras Parade today. We went to some friends house who live near the parade route. The kids caught lots of beads, and enjoyed seeing all of the floats. We went back to their house after the parade for a craw fish boil and LOTS of fun play time for the kids. A lot of Anna Claire's friends were there and she wanted to spend the night and never leave....her words :) The weather was great, so Leighton enjoyed being outside all day.

Our Valentine's Day weekend

We had such a fun Valentine's Day weekend. Saturday morning Daddy fixed us breakfast (it was ready when we woke up). That alone is a wonderful Valentine gift considering my kids eat a good breakfast most mornings, by that I mean we usually have something like pancakes or biscuits, eggs and meat. It is their only source of protein most days and I agree with the thought that it is the most important meal of the day. Aren't you glad you know that now.....Who cares :) So anyway, next we gave them their little Valentine goodies from us, played outside and then my mom came over and brought us all our Valentine's Day gifts. Anna Claire got Troy from High School Musical, which was a complete hit and Leighton got some cool new trucks. We then got Mexican food for lunch and they BOTH took naps (does it get any better?). When they woke up we went to the Boardwalk so that Anna Claire could get her free Build-A-Bear (I got a cool coupon for a free bear in the mail) and then we took them to Chucke Cheese. I didn't get any pictures because, well it was too crazy in that place. They loved it, we did not, but it was worth it to see them having so much fun. What I mean by that is that the place is just kind of gross to me and I am way too large right now to be squeezing through the mounds of children who's heads are level with my belly.

Matt got 2 bags of my mom's chocolate chip cookies. He also gets them weekly (we love to spoil Matt) and he's the only one in the family who can stand to eat a dozen cookies in one sitting.

Anna Claire made Valentine's cards and crafts for weeks leading up to the big day! We had lots of homemade cards for Matt Saturday morning. I love my Matt, on Valentine's Day and always, we are so lucky to have him as our daddy/hubby!!!!

Happy Valentine's Day

We are just waiting on the arrival of our sweet Caroline this Valentine's Day :) No signs of her yet, but still I'm hopeful it won't be too much longer. This weeks doctor visit went great...we are both healthy and that's all I need to hear. Glory be to God for that!

Anna Claire had her Valentine's Party at school today and it was cute. I didn't manage too many pictures between watching Leighton and doing crafts with the class. We are planning a Valentine breakfast at home with the kids tommorow, then maybe a date just Matt and I for lunch and then we are taking the kids to Chucke Cheese for dinner :) Romantic I know......it was my idea and Matt thought it would be fun too. We love our little Valentine's and thanks to sweet grandparents we get our date nights with just us two often enough.

We celebrated Grandpa's Birthday tonight (Matt's Dad). I love the relationship he has with our kids....it is so sweet! I never thought anything could be sweeter than watching the guys (Matt, his dad and my dad) with Anna Claire....and it is SO precious. But watching them with a little boy melts my heart too. I guess I thought guys could only love on little girls and it be sweet....BOY was I wrong.

This picture is of Anna Claire playing on the computer....one of her favorite past times...she loves to go to barbie.com or pbskids.com at night before bed. It seems so grown up to me :(
