First of Summer 2010

Warning****Long post with lots of pictures*****

As summer flies by and we enjoy these fun days I tend to forget the best parts sometimes. So for my record keeping:

Some things I want to remember about this summer:

-Watching my kids enjoy each other and thinking about how I don't want school to start back ( i think i am supposed to WANT it to start back????)
Watching Leighton fix many things around the house with his tool belt on. Anna Claire helping him get all of his tools. He talks in a deep voice and says "ma'am do you need me to fix something for you?"

Watching and trying to catch many butterflies. Hearing a sweet voice yell "MOM THERE'S  A BUTTERFLY" as if it were the 1st one they had ever seen.

Swimming, Swimming and more swimming!

Taking Anna Claire to The Swim School where she learned to swim. I am so proud of her!!
Caroline being  less and less of a baby and trying SO hard to keep up with her brother and sister.

Many bike rides and walks before bed.
Looking at the moon before bed and staying up late watching movies in our bed.
Playdates with sweet little friends and doing pedicures.
Anna Claire's 1st slumber party at Ellery's house.
Picking blueberries and eating LOTS of blueberries :) Caroline pulling them off of the bush and eating them...never putting them in her bucket.
Daddy discovering his love of them and eating the majority of them.
Day camp at church and the CUTE crafts they made. Watching Leighton go to camp for the 1st time and being so proud of how big he was.

Captains game with sweet Grandpa. The kids spending many nights with Grandma and Grandpa.

Slippin sliddin.

Swinging. Lots of swinging! Thanks daddy for hanging 3 swings.

Watching my sweet 6 year old take care and love on her brother and sister. Especially her brother. She loves him and can't stand for him to get in trouble.
Watching Leighton grow into a little boy. He has changed and grown SO much. He is all boy and loves everything outdoors.
Feeding the ducks.
Silly bands. LOTS OF THOSE THINGS!
Feeling blessed beyond measure.
Matt doing lots of grilling and swimming in our little pool!
LOTS and LOTS of outings for me and the 3 kiddos. Outings are good! Sci-port, Chick-fil-A, Swimming, TARGET trips galore, SONIC trips for happy hour drinks (galore won't cover it) , water sprayer parks, bowling, Library, fun play dates with friends and hopefully MANY MORE.

I love summer and this one is the best YET!
