Mother's Day

I  thought all day yesterday about what it means to be a mother and here's what I have come up with:

it is one fold i believe:

My job as commanded by God is simply to lead them to Jesus. If i don't do that I fail. It is my prayer today and always that I will never ever give up on that and that I can work harder (much harder) at it...that it will be first. I must live it out.

My mom always lived by example and I strive for it....to learn be selfless is one of the most Christ like things I can do. She makes it look easy but it's work for me. I can't imagine where I would be without her. The only problem is she sets the bar so darn high.  Ha! :)

 Deuteronomy 6:4-9

 Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one. Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.  These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts.  Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads.  Write them on the door frames of your houses and on your gates.

There are a lot of Godly women in my life .....I thank Him for you. I love to watch you show God's love to your children as it has ministered to me more than you know.
