Anna Banana Funnies

Anna Claire has been cracking me up lately with things she says, but also she's been amazing me with the adult like conversations she has...and wants to have.
Here's a couple of things I want to remember:
I recently had a cavity that I had filled (sp??) We have talked before about how if you eat too many sweets and don't brush your teeth well you can get a cavity. So here's the way the conversation went on the way home from the dentist.
AC: Mom did the cavity hurt?
Me: "Well, Mommy dosen't do as well as you do at the dentist." (I don't like fillings----very childish about it)." It really didn't hurt."
AC: "Mommy, I know why you had a cavity."
Me: "Why?"
AC: " Because you ate those Moreo cookies the other day." (Moreo=Oreo cookies)
Me: "Well I guess maybe I do eat too many sweets."
AC: "I didn't have a cavity because I didn't eat any Moreo cookies."
Well, what can I say to that one....NOTHING! :) I love the mind of my 4 year old.


A few nights ago I was laying with her before she fell asleep, and we got done with our books and I was about to turn off the light and she reached out and touched my face and said, "Mommy your important." WOW! That made my year. What a sweet girl. So I said, "Why am I important?" And she said" Because your my mommy." It was a very special moment I loved it!!!!

I love when kids pronounce things wrong, most of the time I don't even correct Anna Claire because it's a sign that she's still little, not to mention it is SO cute.
