Leighton is 10 Months

No my baby can not be 10 months old! WHEW, it really has flown by. What a fun 10 months it has been. I can't remember my life without him.

Here are some things I want to remember about Lay at 10 months
--When he's happy his mouth is wide open, it's the funniest thing (he smiles with it open)
--You can't leave the room after you have intiated feeding him, even if he's done and you walk out to get something he gets SO mad. Such a mild temper...yeah right :)
--When I walk in the room after being gone and he's been with Matt, he starts getting whinny. (according to Matt :) I guess he knows I'll give him lots of loving if he's fussy.
--Biz is his best buddy, when he touches Biz he goes nuts
--He never has more than one sock on at a time--they always fall off
--Loves remote controls and electronics, prefers them over any toy
--Loves making noise with toys
--Just started claping, I love to watch his sweet little hands
--Waves bye, fusses at Biz (like I do) after I say NO BIZ, he will point his little finger out and a make a loud noise
--Loves sisters room--especially her kitchen
--Lights up when he sees sister
--Loves his Grandma....always reaches for her
--Loves patty cake, singing, dances when he hears music
--He really only wants to nurse during the night and early in the morning (yes, I still get up with him during the night....crazy I know). I secretly like how cuddly and sweet he is in the middle of the night. I think for me it's become our special time just the two of us.
--Hates to be on his back ---that's why we call him turtle
--Takes two people to change his diaper...he dosen't like it
--Likes his bath, especially with sister
--Loves outside
--Likes his daddy to sit with him and watch TV---he won't sit still with me
--He's eating just about anything we eat that can be chopped up. He's a pretty good eater.
--LOVES Ritz crackers, they can always buy you a couple of minutes for a restroom break :)
--The only ways he can be contained in his walker or exersaucer is if he's having a snack





I love those juicy legs!!!!
We had his Baby Dedication Sunday at church. It was a special day for him and our family. We know what a gift he is from God and we are truly blessed. It was a fun time, both sets of Grandparents went with us to church and then we got to all have lunch together at my moms. It is so awesome to have the family that we've been blessed with. Yet another gift from God.
